Football Manager 2009 -- a game football fans wouldn't miss

Sports Interactive, the developer of Football Manager series has announced that FM 2009 will be officially released on 14th November, 2008 for both PC and Mac users.

To most of the FM fans like me myself, the demo version also means a lot to us. So, I believe many have been waiting for the release of demo version and would be very happy to be the first to experience the brand new version of FM. On 3rd September, 2008, SI officially declared the added new features, including more emotional movements and a 3D match engine, which might kill my old graphic card? lol... So, dear FM mates, you'd better get some nice sleep before the official launching of the extraordinary simulation game!

Melaka, the Historic City

A little introduction of my hometown. Here's where I'm from, thanks to google maps for the fantastic services. The balloon marked 'A' indicates the city I'm living in, Melaka (also known as Malacca), the historic city of Malaysia.

Melaka is located on the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, facing the famous Straits of Malacca, about 147 kilometres from the capital city Kuala Lumpur. This southern state of Malaysia covers an area of approximately 1,638 square metres.

Why is it called the historic city? The state government celebrated the 600th anniversary of the founding in year 1990, however, some historians had placed the founding at between 1376 and 1400. Melaka’s glorious years began during the Malay Sultanate and ended when it became a pawn in the struggle between the colonial powers that sought fame and fortune in the Far East. Melaka’s illustrious history left numerous heritage and cultural landmarks that have become a draw for tourists. In July 2008, Melaka was finally recognized and listed as a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco), together with another city, George Town of Penang Island.

A new day in cyber world -- Hello world!

Good day~~ everybody! Yea, that's it, from this moment on I officially become a member of the so-called bloggers in the fantastic (insane?) cyber world. Well, I have been hanging around the Internet since 13 years ago while the Internet was being introduced nationwide in my beloved homeland, Malaysia. So, technically I'm no longer a newbie but, somehow, this is the first time I feel like posting my thoughts to the cyberspace.
